Welcome Home Little Pup

A rescued northern sea otter pup received a warm welcome to Chicago and the aquarium! Please say hello to the newest fluffy arrival! The pup was rescued in late October by our partners at Alaska SeaLife Center and is now estimated to be around eight weeks old. Committed to providing him a home, our team of dedicated animal experts will be working around the clock, behind the scenes in the Regenstein Sea Otter Nursery to feed the pup every few hours, groom him with soft towels and provide enrichment items and veterinary check-ups. We are honored to be able to provide this care to this new resident and share his progress with you as he continues to reach milestones!
