The production team attempted to decipher the inscription using advanced rubbing technology and discovered a noteworthy character among them. It is the Chinese character ‘畓’, commonly read as ‘paddy field’. This character does not exist in currently used Chinese dictionaries. If so, was this character created independently, separate from China, during the reign of King Jinheung? The Changnyeong Stele, which has survived to this day after a Japanese principal disguised a discovery made by students on a field trip in the valley of Mt. Hwawang in Changnyeong as his own, raises the question: what do the mysterious characters left in the inscription signify? ■ King Jinheung, who broke the 100-year alliance and betrayed Baekje – The secret of the Silla-Goguryeo secret pact theory lies in the Pure Stele!!!
