August 2026 Eclipse Season Forecast: Fate Takes the Reins—How the Eclipses Hit YOUR Sign!

August 2026 brings the first eclipse season under the new nodal axis — and the changes it sets in motion will shape the next 18 months of your life. In this August 2026 astrology forecast, I'm walking you through every major transit of the month, and stopping after each one to tell you exactly which signs are impacted and how. We open with the Mars–Venus–Neptune T-square in the cardinal signs, running through the entire first half of the month — a configuration that makes deception more prevalent and people far more prone to passive-aggression, especially with Mars in its fall in Cancer. Then we get to the main event: the total solar eclipse in Leo on August 12, the first eclipse with the South Node in Leo and the North Node in Aquarius, a nodal shift that only happens once every 18.6 years. Because this is a South Node eclipse, it carries a very particular flavor — endings, unravelings, and new beginnings that feel eerily familiar. In Leo, it asks a hard question: are you being recognized for something that's actually authentic to you, or for something you built because you wanted to be seen? Its only major aspect is a trine to Saturn in its fall in Aries, and I explain what that combination is genuinely capable of building. On August 27, we close out two years of Pisces eclipses with a partial lunar eclipse that arrives hours after a Mercury cazimi in Virgo, locked in a tight T-square with Uranus in Gemini. On paper, a weak eclipse. In practice, one of the more forceful changes of the month. We finish with Jupiter trine Saturn on August 31 — the first of three passes through July 2027, and the moment the last two years of Saturn in Aries finally start to make sense — plus Mars square Saturn on September 1, and Venus entering the shadow period of her October retrograde.
