Fr Robert Thuo parents visited Gatundu-Kiambu-County by CWA from Ngong Kajiado county on 26/10/2024

We left St Joseph The Worker Cathedral ground in Ngong at 8:20 am.We under estimated time distance, assuming it was nearby, it became a very long distance. From Gatundu town we travelled to Karera village more than 10km from Gatundu town. Some drivers got lost and arrived a bit late in the venue. The parents, Mr and Mrs John Thuo and the larger family prepared for the visitors very well. Breakfast was served at 11:30 on arrival. The mass was celebrated by Fr Robert Thuo. Lunch was served, water was in plenty. We left the home at 4:48pm with lots of gifts from this family, we were very many and everyone got a gift. The village is hilly hence lower gear is engaged during driving. We passed through the former president and founder president of the republic of Kenya the Kenyatta through Kays road passing there and after 7:00 PM.
