1941 - 1942 Battle for Opium Hill
Local defence forces, Dalforce and the Malay regiment, fought bravely alongside Allied forces against the invading Japanese army. Despite being outnumbered, Lieutenant Adnan and his men fought valiantly in the battle atop Opium Hill, off Pasir Panjang.
