In this part of Maya Group’s adventure travelogue, you will travel with us to one of the most beautiful and coolest areas of Iran in the summer, namely the Dalampar Mountains. This three-day trip, which was implemented as a nature and camping tour, was supposed to be a peaceful experience among the flower-filled plains, clear springs, and lush slopes of Dalampar; but from the very beginning, everything went against plan. Due to the long distance from Tehran to Dalampar, we started the trip a day earlier and spent the night near Tabriz to reach the location early in the morning. In order not to miss the best camping spot on one of the busiest days of the year, we led our fellow travelers to the area in two groups. However, the delay in the arrival of the first group and the presence of a huge snow drift that completely blocked the road for vehicles began the challenges that took hours of our time and energy. Driving off-road vehicles through the snow, guiding fellow travelers to the campsite, returning to welcome the second group, and managing the route were just some of the events of the first day. Just when we thought we had passed the most difficult part of the route, news arrived that one of our friends and guests on the trip had overturned on the same snowy route. This incident caused us to spend hours providing relief, transporting the vehicle, coordinating with the Red Crescent, and taking the injured person to the hospital; an incident that caused me to spend almost the entire first day without rest or even the opportunity to have a proper meal. But Dahlampar always has a way of making up for it... On the second day, we finally had the opportunity to take a breath and enjoy the unique nature of this area; where plains full of wildflowers, flowing springs, cool summer air, remaining patches of snow, and quiet camping nights create an unforgettable image of Iranian nature. On the third day, we set off on our return journey with different memories and experiences that we will never forget.
