Standard wipes for ostomy care are discouraged by some medical professionals especially when it comes to impacting wafer adhesion. In this video, I share what works for me, why I use standard wipes, and how I separate products that touch my skin from products used inside my bag. I also show the size difference between a standard wipe and an adhesive wipe and explain why that matters in my routine. This is not medical advice — it’s my lived experience.
