The goal of this remaster is to stay as true to the original as possible, we've based every track on original game midi to match every note perfectly. we even used sampled sounds ripped directly from the game as often as possible. On a console that uses cartridges like the Nintendo 64 the team at Rare were limited to using midi for their music playback, with this project we've tried to update and modernize the music to make it sound as if the game was released today. We've uploaded this on the 20th anniversary of the games realease as a way of celebrating it's legacy and to highlight the brilliance of Graeme Norgate, Grant Kirkhope and Robin Beanland work.
