For example, we observe that a visually impaired person has a more developed memory, and that those with walking disabilities have more developed mental abilities, especially manual dexterity. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) placed a special value on people with disabilities and personally cared for them. He was so considerate that he spread his cloak where Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum, a blind Companion, would sit. He informed them that disability, met with patience and perseverance, is a means to Paradise. He assigned people with disabilities important duties, such as teaching, serving as muezzins, and delegating the city's administration when they traveled outside Medina. The most important half of the match is the second half! God's promise to the disabled... The Directorate of Religious Affairs needs to hire muezzins with beautiful voices! Imams and muezzins should be chosen from among these individuals.
