We Broke Our EarthRoamer Driving the Alvord Desert Adventure Trail in Eastern Oregon

Eastern Oregon’s high desert is one of the least-visited corners of the American West — and the Alvord Desert might be the most remote place we’ve ever taken the EarthRoamer. About five minutes after arriving at Hart Mountain Hot Springs before we even started the Alvord Desert Adventure Trail, our sink broke. This started our first big overland repair. So somewhere between trying to patch that back together, driving across the Alvord Desert, stopping at Borax Hot Springs, and making our way out to Mickey Hot Springs, this trip turned into a little more than we expected. Whether we actually managed to fix the sink… you’ll have to watch to find out.
