I battled my inner demons, anxiety and physical exhaustion in hopes of achieving something special amongst the evergreens. The Cascade Crest 100 was one of the toughest physical feats I’ve ever attempted. But running 100 miles isn’t a singular effort but a cumulative effort of those surrounding the runner.
