A team of researchers spent over 10 years successfully breeding vulture chicks, marking the first time this has happened in the Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary and in Thailand, after they had been absent from the wild for over 30 years. Besides the long duration, immense effort was required to return the vulture population, known as the "forest's sanctuary," to their natural habitat.
