Building A 250' Driveway In A Field
Building a 250' driveway in a field. Back at the crawl space job and it's time to start putting in the driveway. I had to dig out about 18"-24" of topsoil and soft sandy clay to get to something solid enough to put the driveway on. I cut down to where the clay started and we hauled in 11 loads of 6" rip rap to put down for the sub base. Then covered it with 3" base rock to get a nice solid driveway for the concrete and lumber trucks. This is a lot like the train track job very soft wet ground. It's also a long ways from the quarry, it takes about an hour and 20 minutes to make a road so it's not going real quick. Thanks for watching! #EliteEarthworks #Takeuchi #driveway
