Alice - I'm No Superman [YFMM]

This video is for Your Fandom My Music Contest. You pick a fandom and then we are sent two songs from which you pick one song to make a video. So as you can see my fandom is my favorite - Syfy's Alice. As for the songs I received I never would have thought of using either one for Alice. This song was a bit of a challenge, but I really enjoyed making this video. And, I think it worked out. I tried to show the whole story of the miniseries. Alice believes that she is no Superman or rather Superwoman. She doesn't think that she is Alice of Legend she just thinks of herself as Just Alice a young woman who somehow followed a man that she thought she has feelings for and ended up on the wrong side of the looking glass. She doesn't see herself as a heroine. And, she does need her friends that she meets along the way "can't do this all on my own" just like the song. So she gets help from Hatter & Charlie. I know that as for gender I probably should have picked Hatter or Charlie. But, this song doesn't suit Hatter's personality & as for Charlie I think someone should do this song for him. As I was doing this I thought this would be quite perfect for him, but since we have to do a minimum of 1:30 I knew there wasn't enough clips for that amount or rather the amount of song I have on this. Although I cut this song up it had to blend, which made it as long as it is so I knew I had to keep on with Alice as my subject. I tried to show her journey that she went on. Even put in her daddy issues, fear of heights and tried to show some of the humor within the show. She is only human and I think that's what this song represents and makes it relatable. She is a woman who goes through extraordinary circumstances and its how she deals with them that makes us see her as the heroine in the story, whether she sees herself that are or not. She goes through this journey and finds more about herself. An interesting challenge I must say. And, as different as this song choice was I really had fun with this and hope you all enjoy watching it. Let me know what you think. Did it work or did it not?
