Be sure to bring cash for payment at the gate, there are not card machine facilities. For those who like to do fishing, remember your required permits as well. This location offers so much more than simply 4x4, fishing, picnic, beach driving, cave formations or whale watching. It is an experience all together taking in the epic ocean view & waves crushing noise while discovering all the lookout points by means of 4x4 ONLY sand driving mostly. This is one of very few places in South Africa where you can experience beach driving, something we did not know is locally available so close to Cape Town. Be sure to plan your day, attempt the drive to Sopiesklip & back during low tide & do the caves walk / visit during high tide, not to get cut off by the ocean on your way to or back from Sopiesklip.
