TRIP REPORT | Flying home with Catalunya’s finest | Vueling Airbus A320-232 Paris Orly to Dublin

A nice, smooth flight home to Dublin from Orly with Vueling on a clear evening in Paris and a warm, sunny evening in Dublin. Yet another flight again on Vueling, an airline that have come quite close to my heart over the last year or so! To make it even better, conditions were perfect throughout the flight. It was sunny and clear almost the whole way and overall, an almost perfect day for flying, one you'd dream of in the summertime. Those views over Paris were spectacular after take-off, and the shots of the Irish East Coast were stunning also in the June sunshine :) If I had to pick one flight that stood out last year, I would definitely say that it would have to be this one! About the flight then, we took off a bit late from Orly, mostly due to the aircraft being delayed from earlier flights. A common enough occurence this time of year, especially with how busy Europe's airspace gets once the summer season hits. After take-off, we got some spectacular views over the French capital in the lovely evening sunshine, a perfect way to end a wonderful few days in Paris :) We climbed gradually to 36,000ft, as our route took us North-West bound, away from Paris in the direction of Brittany and Normandy. Soon afterwards, we were out over the English Channel continuing onwards towards Ireland. Slightly cloudier weather in this area, the only part of the flight where there was any significant buildup of overcast weather. We caught a small glimpse of Cornwall shortly before descent, and soon afterwards we were entering Irish Airspace over Wexford. On descent and approach, we got some stunning views of the Irish East Coast, catching some lovely views of lots of coastal towns along the Irish Sea in the beautiful Evening sunshine. We then headed out over the Irish Sea and lined up on approach with Runway 28L, and just 1 hour and 25 mins after we left the French Capital, we touched down in Dublin just 7 mins behind schedule. Overall it was a lovely flight back home with Vueling, one that will be quite memorable for a long time yet :) Now, over to you! Ever flown with Vueling? Or from Orly to Dublin?
