West Coast Express WB Fireworks Train - Mission to Waterfront (July 27th, 2024)

This is a ride aboard the special West Coast Express Fireworks Train, a service operated on the Saturday evening of the annual Celebration of Light in Vancouver. The train departs from Mission City in the Fraser Valley, north of Abbotsford at 7pm, and arrives into Vancouver's Waterfront station at 8:15pm, filmed on July 27th, 2024. In this video, the train is powered by two 1995-built GMDD F59PHI units on the rear, numbers 903 and 901, and is composed of seven Bombardier BiLevel coaches. 1995-built Cabcar 104 is at the front of the train, followed by car 302, 208, 220, 301, 406, and we ride in car 304 at the rear of the train next to the locomotives. The 200-series cars were built in 1995, the 300-series cars were built in 2000, and the 400-series cars were built in 2010.
