雨宮21号雪中特別運行

The Amemiya No. 21, a forest railway steam locomotive manufactured in 1928 in Engaru Town, Hokkaido, ran on the tracks of the forest park in Maruseppu, Engaru Town, for the first time in 12 years, on the 15th and 16th, covered in silvery snow. The locomotive is preserved in working condition at Maruseppu Ikoi no Mori and is usually not in service during the winter, but this year's snow-covered run was planned to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the settlement of Maruseppu. The train sped through the approximately 2-kilometer snowy landscape, sounding its whistle. Many railway enthusiasts gathered along the tracks to capture the majestic sight of the steam locomotive on camera.
