The plaintiff says the defendant hired him to watch her animals while she was out of town, and he claims what started out as a simple task ended with him being falsely accused of a felony theft. The plaintiff is suing the defendant because after she returned from a trip, she stopped payment on his paycheck. The defendant says when she hired the plaintiff to care for her animals, he agreed to spend three nights at her house caring for them. However, he only spent one night at her home, and because of his neglect, one of her cats died.
