The Range Rover Sport has always been a practical, expensive, and extremely luxurious SUV. However, more and more brands are looking to take it down as the benchmark of luxury, so is this 2027 Range Rover Sport Autobiography P530 still the king? Let’s go ahead and find out. The Range Rover has a sleek and modern design. Up front is a functional grill, Range Rover lettering stamped onto the head, gloss black elements, and fully LED headlights. The Autobiography model has pixel headlamps, so that you don’t have to blind everyone in sight when using the high beams. At the side, the wheels have plenty of options for the design and size, but this model has the 23” wheels finished in dark gray. They have carbon fiber inserts as well as red brake calipers. There are soft close doors, deployable door handles, mirrors that have heating, blind spot monitoring, auto dimming, and power folding, and a two tone roof design. This car also has a standard air suspension. At the back, there is quad exhaust on the Autobiography, gloss black trim pieces, and fully LED taillights. The interior is extremely luxurious. The seats are made of semi-aniline leather, and they have heating, ventilation, massaging, and 22 ways of power adjustment. They are incredibly plush and comfortable. The steering wheel is leather wrapped and heated, and it has real metal paddle shifters. The gauge cluster is fully digital and highly customizable, and the way it is mounted on the dash makes it look very high end and advanced. Materials include semi aniline leather, gloss black, forged carbon fiber, and real metal. Storage is quite impressive, with a wireless phone charger, cup holders, hidden storage under the cup holders, a center pass through, and a cool box for the center console. Climate controls are integrated into the screen, and they are pretty easy to use. Four zone climate is standard equipment, which is impressive. The main infotainment system has the latest software from JLR, and it is very easy to use. There is built in navigation as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It isn’t the most responsive, but the graphics look excellent. The cameras are very high resolution, and there is a 3D view. There is also a separate page for off road views. Up top is a suede headliner and a panoramic sunroof. The second row is spacious and luxurious. The seats are made of the same semi aniline leather, and they have standard heating, ventilation, and power reclining. There is plenty of legroom and headroom, and for amenities, there are seat back pockets, four zone climate, power outlets, USB ports, and cup holders. The cargo area is plentiful. Behind the second row, there is 31.9 cubic feet of space. The second row power folds, and that reveals 53 cubic feet of space. These figures are on par with other vehicles in the segment, but the maximum figure is quite a bit less than competitors like the BMW X5. You can also lower the air suspension from the cargo area itself. Under the hood is a BMW sourced 4.4L twin turbo V8. It makes 523 horsepower and 553 pound feet of torque.
