#ସମୁଦ୍ରରେ_ଗର୍ଜିବ_ଓଡ଼ିଶାର_ମହେନ୍ଦ୍ରଗିରି ସମୁଦ୍ରରେ ଗର୍ଜିବ, ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ‘ମହେନ୍ଦ୍ରଗିରି’ । କାରଣ ଆଜି ନୌବାହିନୀକୁ ମିଳିଛି ଷ୍ଟେଲଥ୍ ଫ୍ରିଗେଟ୍ ଆଇଏନଏସ୍ ମହେନ୍ଦ୍ରଗିରି । ଯାହାକୁ ବିଶାଖାପାଟଣାରେ ଲୋକାର୍ପିତ କରିଛନ୍ତି ପ୍ରତିରକ୍ଷା ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ରାଜନାଥ ସିଂ । ନୌ-ସାମରିକ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କୌଶଳରେ ଷ୍ଟେଲଥ୍ ଫ୍ରିଗେଟର ଅର୍ଥ ହେଉଛି ଗୋଇନ୍ଦା ଯୁଦ୍ଧଯାହାଜ ବା ଶତ୍ରୁର ରାଡାରରେ ଧରା ପଡୁନଥିବା ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ଜାହାଜ । ଆଇଏନଏସ୍ ମହେନ୍ଦ୍ରଗିରି ହେଉଛି ଭାରତୀୟ ନୌସେନାର ଷଷ୍ଠ ପ୍ରୋଜେକ୍ଟ-17-A ଷ୍ଟେଲ୍ଥ ଫ୍ରିଗେଟ୍ । ‘ମହେନ୍ଦ୍ରଗିରି’ ନିର୍ମାଣରେ ପ୍ରାୟ ୭୫ ପ୍ରତିଶତ ସ୍ୱଦେଶୀ ଉପକରଣ ଓ ପ୍ରଯୁକ୍ତି ବ୍ୟବହାର ହୋଇଛି। ଏହାକୁ ନୌସେନାର ୱାରସିପ୍ ଡିଜାଇନ୍ ବ୍ୟୁରୋ ଡିଜାଇନ୍ କରିଥିବା ବେଳେ ମୁମ୍ବାଇ ସ୍ଥିତ ମଜ୍ ଗାଓଁ ଡକୟାର୍ଡରେ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରାଯାଇଛି । ଆଇଏନଏସ୍ ମହେନ୍ଦ୍ରଗିରି ସ୍ୱଦେଶୀ ଯୁଦ୍ଧପୋତ ଡିଜାଇନ ଏବଂ ନିର୍ମାଣରେ ଭାରତର ବଢିଚାଲିଥିବା ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ରତାକୁ ଦର୍ଶାଉଛି। ଏହା ‘ଆତ୍ମନିର୍ଭର ଭାରତ’ ଅଭିଯାନକୁ ଆହୁରି ସୁଦୃଢ଼ କରିବା ସହ ଭାରତୀୟ ନୌସେନାର ସାମୁଦ୍ରିକ ସୁରକ୍ଷା କ୍ଷମତାକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅଧିକ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ କରିବ ବୋଲି ଆଶା କରାଯାଉଛି । ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କଥା ହେଉଛି, ଗଜପତି ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ଅବସ୍ଥିତ ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ ପର୍ବତ ଶୃଙ୍ଗ 'ମହେନ୍ଦ୍ରଗିରି' ନାଁ ଅନୁସାରେ ଏହାକୁ ନାମକରଣ କରାଯାଇଛି । ଅର୍ଥାତ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଐତିହ୍ୟକୁ ସମ୍ମାନ ଜଣାଇ ଏବଂ ଏହାର ଅଦମ୍ୟ ସାହସକୁ ପ୍ରତିପାଦନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଏଭଳି ନାମକରଣ କରାଯାଇଛି। ତେଣୁ INS ମହେନ୍ଦ୍ରଗିରିକୁ ନେଇ ବେଶ ଗର୍ବ ଅନୁଭବ କରିବା ସହ ବେଶ୍ ଖୁସି ଅନୁଭବ କରିଛନ୍ତି ଗଜପତି ଜିଲ୍ଲା ବାସିନ୍ଦା।... #INSMahendragiri #IndianNavy #RajnathSingh #Odisha #AtmanirbharBharat #DefenceNews #Mahendragiri #MaritimeSecurity #OdishaTV #OTV India's maritime strength received a major boost with the induction of the stealth frigate INS Mahendragiri into the Indian Navy. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh dedicated the advanced warship to the nation at Visakhapatnam. INS Mahendragiri is the sixth Project 17A stealth frigate and has been built using nearly 75 percent indigenous equipment and technology, reflecting India's growing self-reliance in defence manufacturing. Designed by the Indian Navy's Warship Design Bureau and constructed at Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited in Mumbai, the stealth frigate is expected to significantly enhance the Navy's maritime security capabilities and further strengthen the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. The warship derives its name from the historic Mahendragiri mountain peak located in Odisha's Gajapati district, symbolising courage, heritage and resilience.
