Kay Adams Reacts to Tom Brady's Patriot's Hall of Fame Ceremony Induction, Has No. 12 Retired

I have to start with Tom Brady’s induction into the Patriots Hall of Fame last night…Not that I’m not surprised at all, but this was a first class operation through and through. I’ve never seen anything like what the Patriots put on for Tom last night. 60,000 fans…200 teammates, Jay-Z, Tom’s family – that had me misty-eyed, video messages from players around the league – including Eli who was booed mercilessly. Surprise guests like Peyton Manning. Bill Belichick came back. And what stood out to me was that the focus went so far beyond what he did on the field. Drew Bledsoe put it best last night when he said “the fans would show up even if you were a jerk because you won a lot of championships…but all of these teammates are here because of who you are as a person.” Every single teammate that spoke…from Gronk to Randy to the defensive guys like Vince Wilfork and Ty Law…talked about Tom Brady the human. How he brought the absolute best out of every single one of them…as a player and as a man. And that’s going to be his legacy there just as much as the rings. All of the feels. Kraft also reveals that the team will honor Tom with a 12-foot bronze statue outside of Gillette…making Brady the first Patriot to have his own statue there.
