"Whoever has, to him shall more be given": The Paradox of Christ as a working tool for reading the Gospel. "Is this fair?" we exclaim indignantly, reading the Gospel lines. Shouldn't it be the other way around: whoever doesn't have, to him shall they give? Archpriest Dmitry Sizonenko has an unexpected answer. It turns out it's not about wealth or poverty. It's about how open one is. If a person has even the slightest willingness—to be surprised, to hear, to apply what they hear—then their "having" will grow. If not, even what seemed clear slips away. What we'll discuss: — Why is the same passage boring today, but tomorrow it "reaches the very soul"? — What does "having" mean in relation to an ordinary morning, a traffic jam, or a conversation with a child? — How can just one phrase from the Gospel become a navigator in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and not just a beautiful text in Church Slavonic.
