LG 6.3 cu. ft. Convection Oven Review [JUNK - See Update In Description] (1 of 2)

UPDATE AFTER 6 MONTHS:    • LG 6.3 cu. ft. Convection Oven Review Upda...   I don't think I'd recommend this oven anymore. I've found quite a few issues with it after extensive use. The front edge of the stove gets excessively hot to the touch after extensive use of the front left burner. Hot enough that I can't keep my hand on it for less than a half second. If you make stock on your stove, know that the burners shut off after 12 hours, and this feature can't be overridden. This safety feature seems kind of stupid, since if your house hasn't burned down in 12 hours, it will probably be good for an indefinite amount of time. After using the oven more, I finally had to clean it. The Easy Clean function sucks, unless you enjoy scraping every single square inch of the oven interior. I much prefer self cleaning, which you just have to sweep out the ashes when you're done. The oven interior has hot/cool spots. I cooked chicken breasts a few nights ago, and had one that was 160°F, and one that read 120°F, even though they were the same thickness. The temperature gradient seems to be most drastic from front to back, with the back cooking much faster. Thanks to Home Depot and LG for providing a review sample.
