Dallas Willard- Denver Seminary #14 Life and Transformation of and from the Heart
Download the transparency for this session: https://dwillard.s3-us-west-1.amazona... Dallas Willard taught this intensive seminary course on the psychology of redemption (the theology of spiritual formation) for Denver Seminary in 2010. It is perhaps the most advanced course that Dallas taught from which we have recordings. Dallas called it, "THE HUMAN CONTRIBUTION TO HOLINESS: WHAT IS OUR PART IN PUTTING OFF THE OLD PERSON AND PUTTING ON THE NEW." At the end of this session, Dallas shares the version of The Lord's Prayer that he paraphrased to help us read it in the context of the Kingdom of God: Dear Father always near us, May Your name be treasured and loved, May Your rule be completed in us--- May Your will be done here on earth in just the way it is done in heaven. Give us today the things we need for today, And forgive our sins and impositions on You as we are forgiving all who in any way offend us. Please don’t put us through trials, but deliver us from anything bad. Because You are the One in charge, and You have all the power, and the glory too is all Yours—forever —which is just the way we want it! The book Dallas is primarily teaching from (other than the Bible) is The Divine Conspiracy: https://dwillard.org/books/divine-con... #SermonOnTheMount #DivineConspiracy #TheHeartThatJesusGives #TheLordsPrayer
