Seher Dilovan, a powerful voice in Turkish folk music, began her musical journey at a young age in the Ankara Radio Youth Choir. Following seven years of comprehensive music education within TRT Ankara Radio, she served as a soloist at the same institution. Thanks to this solid training, she became one of the few artists who could interpret folk songs from every region of Türkiye, preserving their original style, manner, and regional character. With her album "Ayvacı," released in the early 1990s, Seher Dilovan breathed new life into Turkish folk music and quickly won the hearts of a wide audience. In her nearly quarter-century-long artistic career, she has released 13 successful albums, reaching millions of listeners and achieving high sales figures. Songs such as "Fırat," "Dardayım," "Yollarına Güller Dökem," "Bir Seher Vakti," and many others, performed by the artist, have become unforgettable folk music classics that continue to be listened to for years. With her unique interpretation, powerful stage energy, and impressive presence, Seher Dilovan has performed in thousands of concerts and cultural events throughout Türkiye, becoming a significant representative of Turkish culture not only in her own country but also internationally.
