Building a jig for a Trestle Bridge
In this Building a jig for a Trestle Bridge video - I go over what and how I built the jig. A jig is a great tool when you know you are going to be doing something at least more than 3 to 5 times. It speeds up the process and ensures that whatever it is you are doing will be the exact copy for however many items you are making. I also wanted to make this video as a how to video. The ones I've seen shown how they made it but not really the exact sizes of the wood. Below is a list of items I used; Jig Build Bent plans (Google search) Base - 1/8 x 12 x 24 (Cut to size) Braces - 1/8 x 1/8 Bents parts Posts - 3/16 x 3/16 Basswood Crossbeams - 1/8 x 1/8 Basswood Bottom Cap - 1/16 x 1/4 Basswood Top Cap - 1/8 x 1/4 Basswood Those are all of the items I used - as I continue and use different sizes and I'll share those as well. All these items I got from Hobby Lobby. Patreon: / proscalemodels
