In this context, he stated that both the right and the left must engage in self-criticism regarding the current political situation in the country. "Just as the right has to apologize, so does the radical left," he said. Álvarez indicated that the main challenge for the next government will be confronting violence and crime, problems that, in his opinion, have worsened in recent years. He also stated that public discontent stems from the neglect of fundamental sectors such as education and health, making it essential to work toward national reconciliation. The actor also stated that he would be willing to collaborate with the future administration if asked. "If Keiko calls on me, we will work together to combat crime and organized crime," he affirmed. Furthermore, he proposed bringing together the former presidential candidates to develop a "Plan Peru" to address the country's main challenges collectively.
