7.12. Rescue: From Fall Arrest System 7.12.1. While supported by a rope access system, candidate shall demonstrate rescuing an individual that is suspended from energy absorbing lanyards. These videos are a training supplement, not a training substitute. SPRAT evaluations are performance-based, allowing multiple ways to successfully complete requirements in accordance with SPRAT standards. These videos show examples of completing SPRAT certification requirements using representative equipment and techniques. SPRAT is grateful for the donation of time, resources, and equipment from the volunteers, site, and manufacturers that made the production of these videos possible.
