Not by power or force rather by humility and love The "Stable" (Wood) where the Magi saw the Baby Jesus points to the Wooden Cross at Calvary where Jesus was Crucified. The ’’FIAT’’ of Mary at Annunciation includes suffering which she did not know until revealed by Simeon’s prophecy and manifested at Calvary. The Annunciation is the fulfilment of the Cross At the Annunciation Mary gives Flesh to Jesus which in turn gives humanity Salvation on the Cross. The Cross helps us to say yes, to understand others, ourselves, etc The Cross and Annunciation teach us hope. The cross is not the end, after the cross comes Resurrection.
