Gaggia Classic Mods: Stage 3 - 9 Bar OPV Pressure

Reducing the pressure on a 2010 Gaggia Classic from 10 Bar to 9 Bar via a screw adjustment over pressure valve. When I first did this mod I brought it down from 15 Bar to 10 Bar, if the mod hasn't been done before it is likely at 13 - 15 Bar. This mod is looking at static pressure as it is easy to monitor. All you need is a cheap pressure gauge, screw driver, 17mm socket, 5mm allen key. Don't do this mod unless you are competent! Lastly, there are some who say 10bar at the portafilter means 9 bar in the basket, this doesn't make a lot of sense to me, and the dynamic pressure is always going to be higher, so that leads to me thinking that even setting it to 9bar static at the portafilter might be still too high for optimum.
