YouTube Live August 14, 2020: Blacklock Cast Iron Omelette
At last, I've successfully done a YouTube Live stream without crashing. I'd made several attempts to go live in the past, and each time the video would crash after only a few seconds. This time the video stream was successful. However, I discovered the sound quality was sub-standard. Next time, I'll use an external microphone. In this video we make two omelettes in the Lodge Blacklock 10-inch cast iron skillet. The Blacklock skillet does have the rough surface you see on modern day Lodge pans. Is it worth the extra cost? I bought this pan myself a year ago for $60 on Lodge Cast Iron's web site. So far, I've enjoyed the pan immensely and it's been worth every penny. Thanks to everyone who attended this live stream. My apologies for the amateur performance and especially the poor sound quality. I'll work to improve this with my next live video. Cast Iron Chaos on Facebook: / castironchaos
