I Finally Learned the Wuthering Heights Solo

I finally sat down and learned it and discovered very quickly that this solo is far harder than it sounds. The phrasing follows the vocal melody and moves all over the fretboard, which makes it deceptively tricky to play cleanly. The original solo was played by the incredible Ian Bairnson, who also performed guitar on many Alan Parsons Project recordings including the solo on “I Wouldn’t Want To Be Like You”, which I’ve previously covered on this channel.
