International Beekeeping Conference 2024 Dr. Ernesto Guzmán Novoa Professor and Director of the Honey Bee Research Center at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada, is passionate about the study of this species. In fact, he kept several hives while studying at the National University of Mexico, where he obtained the title of Veterinary Doctor. He holds a Master of Science and a Doctorate in Entomology from the University of California, USA. He is the author and co-author of more than 450 publications, has received numerous national and international awards and is currently President of the Canadian Association of Professional Bee Specialists.
