Sura/Quran Ibrahim (سورة إبراهيم) - Beautiful relaxing recitation that soothes the heart (by Omar Hisham al Arabi) The Surah takes its name from verse 35 where the Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham)alaihisalam is mentioned. But this does not necessarily mean that it contains the life story of Prophet Ibrahimalaihisalam. As with many suras, this name is used as a symbol to designate the surah in question, i.e. "the Surah in which Ibrâhîm was mentioned".
