Lil Fame on NY Rappers: Some Spitters, Others Do Mother Goose Rhymes

There are countless debates about New York hip hop losing its traditionl sound, as newer artists go in different creative lanes versus sticking to the well-known boom bap sound and style. As far as other artists sounding very similar to notable artists on the scene, Fame tells DJ Vlad that he doesn't like the copycat rappers because he wants originality. As for younger artists he respects, he says he sees potential in rapper Astro who rhymes similar to the New York sound despite claiming that the city has lost its edge in music. Do you agree?
