Reading to your kiddos early starting from when they are in your womb is so IMPORTANT! A lot of people have been skeptical about it’s effectiveness, but it really does work! Teach them concepts like alphabets, numbers, body parts, shapes and colors before they can even talk and watch them AMAZE you! We have been introducing these concepts since birth. My son is 19months old and knows so much and it’s starting at home. Years from now, when it is time for him to enter Pre-K, he will be beyond ready! I urge you to read to your kids, teach them and TALK to them DAILY! Make learning fun! Sing songs, dance, play games and make/purchase learning toys. If you have a floor baby or a toddler, place books that are at their reach for them to play with and flip pages. If your babies have older siblings, give them a job! Let them play school and teach them these concepts! Let older siblings read to their younger siblings. Trust me, from experience x4 with my own children and from my experience in the classroom with so many students, if you TEACH them, they will LEARN!!! Like, save and share with other parents.
