Sprayed by a SKUNK, Mont Tremblant to Quebec City (TL EP2)

Join me on day two of our Trans Labrador and East Coast Motorcycle Adventure. Today we travel from Val-des-lacs to Quebec City and Spike gets sprayed by SKUNK!. We left Spike's cabin at 9:00 this morning and it was a drizzly, chilly 9°C at Val-des-lacs, QC. We rode the most amazing mountain roads for over an hour before we stopped for a tea at the Golden Arches in St Gabriel du Brandon. The routes were amazing, but the road surfaces were just awful. Quebec truly lives up to its reputation of having the worst asphalt in North America. Nonetheless, Spike lead us on a great tour all the way to Quebec City on a route that he had designed himself. Just before reaching Shawinigan a skunk walked out in front of him. He slowed to allow the idiot skunk to pass. Once she crossed the centre line, Spike rode past, and the ungrateful vermin sprayed him! I got some splash, but the majority was on Spike's boot and saddle bag. We headed to the Canadian Tire in Shawinigan, and we stank up the store. The young lady on the till pulled her shirt over her nose just to serve us. Lol. We continued towards Quebec City and rode more brilliant roads in a misty rain. We decided to grab a motel room instead of camping in the cold and rain. We tried to have a culturally appropriate dinner at St Hubert's but it had a long lineup, so we settled to a down market chicken and poutine at Benny and Co to honour our cousins in Quebec. When we got back to the motel room, we almost choked from the smell of skunk in the room. Spike just put his stuff out in the parking lot. Hee-hee. We are 2 for 2 for great days riding so far this trip. Tomorrow, we follow the St Lawrence River all the way to Baie Comeau. ⬇️⬇️🏍️ Explore Exhilarating Motorcycle Journeys with Tiger Coward! 🌍⬇️⬇️ 📘 Facebook:   / tiger.coward   📸 Instagram:   / tigercoward   Join us as we ride into exciting landscapes and share the joy of motorcycle journeys! 🏞️ Don't miss out on the adrenaline, scenic views, and the camaraderie.
