Chris Eldridge - "Let Him Go On, Mama" | Fretboard Journal
During his 2015 visit to the Fretboard Journal, Chris Eldridge (Punch Brothers) performed two John Hartford tunes for us, including this cover of "Let Him Go On, Mama" from Hartford's 'Mark Twang' album. Eldridge had a little fun improvising an extended intro on this take. Critter is playing a Martin-style dreadnought built by Japanese builder Hiroshi Suda, the same instrument he uses for most Punch Brothers concerts. Eldridge called Hartford "the most important" during our podcast interview with him: http://www.fretboardjournal.com/podca...
