LECCIÓN 25: ¿QUÉ QUIERES QUE YO HAGA?: ESFUÉRZATE EN LA GRACIA QUE ES EN CRISTO JESÚS

In this week's lesson, we will study the second instruction that the apostle Paul gives to Timothy in his second epistle. The instruction is: “Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.” Although this text is familiar to the vast majority of believers today, it is also one of the least understood. At first glance, it seems easy to understand, as it contains no difficult terms or etymologically complex expressions. However, when we read it a second or third time, the instruction becomes surprisingly incomprehensible. What does “be strong in grace” really mean? What does this exhortation imply? In trying to answer these questions, we realize that Paul's words are not as simple to explain as they appear. Nevertheless, for Timothy, this instruction must have been clear and understandable. Paul would not have used an expression that his disciple could not understand. Therefore, the question arises: what exactly did Paul's exhortation consist of?
