There's a complete Yamaha VSS-30 hidden in this retro keyboard. Can we get it out?
The Yamaha VSS-30 has become a cult classic, loved for it's lo-fi sampling and crunchy FX. So if you want one, you better be prepared to empty out your wallet. However, what if there was a way to get all the features of the VSS-30, from a much cheaper (and arguably better) version - the VSS-200. The problem is that the VSS-200 is missing some of the features of the original VSS-30. So, could we maybe get them all back...? Final tracks on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/album/7EZGBA... I’m a composer, songwriter, music producer, sound engineer and DJ, and occasionally also a human. I love anything to do with music tech and recording; I love making videos; and I love setting myself weird or interesting challenges and experiments with all of the above. And most of all, I love making cool music. I’m also passionate about proving that you can make great music with whatever you have in front of you right now, without needing to be a slave to the latest technology, software or plugins. Music stuff is expensive, but making music shouldn’t be. In fact, limiting yourself is one of the best ways to encourage your creativity.
