Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection - PS4 - Legend - True Ending - 1:29:16.73

I am extremely proud to present the first ever sub 90 minute speedrun of Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection (Legend Mode) - True Ending. This run was performed on June 28, 2023. There is too much to say about this so I'll keep it brief. This may be the hardest I've worked for any video game accomplishment to date. The route was developed primarily by myself, though I did learn a few tricks from other speedrunners (most notably fchika_20201). It is a very interesting puzzle to try to put together a speedrun like this. The puzzle lies in which bees to go for and which to ignore in order to have the magic necessary to lower your time the most, while also increasing your chances of surviving through the most difficult stages. This speedrun is not perfect but overall things went VERY well. In particular, stage Shadow 2B went absolutely perfect and this does not happen often. There were a few time losses throughout the run, but no individual loss was bigger than about 40 seconds.
