The Self-Build House - Waterproofing the Roof - Now that the structure of our flat roof is complete, we can waterproof the entire roof of "The Self-Build House." We're applying a waterproof EPDM layer to the flat roof. The sloped roof will be made wind and waterproof with an underlayment, which we'll secure with battens and roof tiles.
