If the line breaks the moment a big fish bites, change the line to a power type and use a power type knot to protect the line from the impact of the fish biting. Use a double line system or a double figure eight knot to tie the line securely so the knot doesn't fly off. A double line system with a Slotted Knot also provides cushioning.
