Grant's Getaways: Columbia Crabbing

Each Fall, I explore several bays for one of the Northwest's premier epicurean delights: Dungeness crabs. It's my favorite season and my favorite dish to share with friends or family and it's so easy anyone can do it. In this "Grant's Getaway," I'll share my favorite location to catch them: the Columbia River estuary. Our adventure includes longtime friend, Steve Fick; a local fellow and my "go to guy" for all things "seafood." He shares tips, tactics and techniques for catching a limit of Dungeness, including the best and freshest baits, the proper "traps" to catch the crustaceans, hottest locations and proper preparation of the catch.
