Shades of Magic - & What Defines YA

Welcome back! I’m the Book Guy, and I’m here to help you find a good book to read. We’re in the middle of YAnuary, our monthly theme of looking at Young Adult books. We’re discussing Shades of Magic, even though it’s officially classified as adult! Because I read the whole thing and fully thought it was YA. So we’ll have a discussion about the way books are classified as adult or young adult, and decide how much that classification actually matters. This series is comprised of the Shades of Magic trilogy, and the start of a new second trilogy with just one book so far, the Fragile Threads of Power.
