Morning weather forecast for July 16, 2026

As monsoon moisture continues to push north today and tomorrow, we'll see rain chances across the Wasatch Front increase slightly. An isolated shower or storm will be possible across the Wasatch Front if developing nearby mountain showers can actually drift overhead. We see a better signal for a few storms to impact the Wasatch Front Friday. The main focal point for storms today and tomorrow will remain in portions of northeastern, central and southern Utah. Flash flood potential will be elevated across southern Utah as we see wetter thunderstorms pop up in the same areas, near recent burn scars, and over slot canyons and normally dry washes. The best chance for some measurable rain along the Wasatch Front will be on Friday and early next week. - Devan Masciulli, KSL Weather 7.15.26 ---- Socials for KSL TV:   / ksl5tv     / ksltv     / kslnews   Socials for KSL NewsRadio:   / kslnewsradio     / kslnewsradio     / ksl_newsradio
