Because it was divided and split into separate districts from Seo-gu, the necessary budget could not be properly allocated. One of the biggest problems is the rent for the temporary office building. The annual rent for the Geomdan-gu modular temporary office is approximately 2.5 billion won. It is scheduled to be used for six years, and it appears that the rent alone will cost 15 billion won. The deployment of civil servants is also an issue. The number of civil servants required to be stationed in Geomdan-gu is 845. However, only about 720 have been deployed. This means each civil servant is responsible for approximately 350 residents. Regarding the civil servant salaries that were a concern, it has been confirmed that six months' worth has been allocated as an emergency measure. In addition, it has been revealed that while a budget of about 1.5 billion won is needed for the maintenance of facilities such as signage, only 500 million won has been secured for the time being.
