Such things will be brought forth in the End Times that the disbelievers will immediately abandon them, become almost intoxicated by what they see, then plunge into them unconsciously and perish. As for the believers, they may not immediately be swayed by these supernatural things, whose outcome they cannot predict, but they too will experience dizziness, blurred vision, and, however fleeting, confusion. In the Arabic language, this issue is expressed with the phrase "zukam," which evokes "the watering of the eyes, the running nose, and the tingling of the brain caused by the influence of the public atmosphere."
