2013 VW Beetle $50 45 Minute Water Pump Replacement

2013 VW Bug $50 45 Minute Water Pump Replacement. After searching for videos they all removed the injection manifold and replaced the entire $180 pump assembly. The shop wanted $800 due to the time it takes. It is really easy and quick as the actual pump is on the outside of the assembly retained with 5 torx screws. The belt doesn't have a tensioner either so it just slides off and on. The only tool I had to buy was a really short torx wrench from Home Depot to get to the bottom screws.
